Weekly Tai Chi Classes
I am teaching the yang short form (the Cheng Man Ching yang 37) as it was taught by master Huang Xing Xian. This practice is challenging but rewarding; the work is slow and mentally demanding. This kind of practice greatly strengthens the body and the mind; in particular taiji practice develops the legs and back, strengthening the knees, hips, and spine. We practice in the Wesley Grant Community Center in the River Arts District, outside if the weather is nice, and inside in the auditorium otherwise.
