CO2 extracted Myristicae Semen, Nutmeg

The aroma of our CO2 extracted Rou Dou Kou is the concentrated, delicious, warm, natural spice of nutmeg.

Rou Dou Kou is warming for the center, tonifying for the Spleen yang and binding for the intestines. It is useful for chronic diarrhea, cold abdominal discomfort. indigestion and poor appetite.

The essential oil of Rou Dou Kou has been shown to have sedative, anesthetic and antibiotic properties.

Practitioners may consider a “tummy rub” using 1% to 6% Rou Dou Kou essential oil blended in coconut oil. (!% or 2% for children under 7 years old).
