THERAvantage Stainless Steel Gua Sha - Shark Fin
THERAvantage Stainless Steel Gua Sha - Shark Fin
THERAvantage Stainless Steel Gua Sha — Shark Fin, 5" x 2.2"
Where the Glider is built for long sweeping strokes across broad muscle territory, the Shark Fin is designed for precision — a compact, multi-edged stainless steel instrument that excels in the smaller, more anatomically complex zones of the body where a long flat tool simply cannot maneuver effectively.
At 5" x 2.2", the Shark Fin's distinctive profile gives it several distinct working surfaces in a single tool. The curved outer edge follows contours smoothly, making it ideal for the jaw, cheekbones, orbital rim, and the curved surfaces of the neck and clavicle. The concave inner edge grips the Achilles tendon, shin bone, forearm, and the edge of the scapula with a precision that flat tools cannot replicate. The pointed tip allows concentrated work at specific acupuncture points, trigger points, and areas of dense fascial restriction too small for any broader instrument to address.
This versatility makes the Shark Fin the natural complement to the Glider in a complete stainless steel gua sha toolkit — the Glider handles large-surface work efficiently, and the Shark Fin takes over wherever anatomy demands something more targeted. It is also the most capable single tool for full facial gua sha treatment in the stainless line, with enough edge variety to address every zone from the décolletage to the brow ridge in a single session.
Like all THERAvantage stainless tools, the Shark Fin is made from medical-grade stainless steel — fully sterilizable, maintenance-free, and built to last indefinitely. It warms quickly to body temperature during use and glides cleanly across oiled skin with no drag or resistance.
Well suited for IASTM technique, facial gua sha, foot and hand reflexology work, and any treatment requiring precision in anatomically complex areas.
